Forschungsschwerpunkt

My research lies at the interface of deep learning and numerical analysis in applied mathematics. I focus on nonlinear PDEs, in particular harmonic maps between manifolds and variational problems, such as the ROF model. A central theme of my work is the integration of learning-based components into classical numerical schemes while preserving their underlying structure.
